Organic Tellicherry Pepper 80g
TGSEB stands for Tellicherry Garbled Special Extra Bold and refers to the careful hand selection of the thickest and most beautiful pepper berries after drying.
This noble pepper comes from the Periyar Nature Reserve in the Indian state of Kerala on the Malabar coast and is named after the port city of Tellicherry (Thalassery).
The taste of the almost fully ripe pepper berries is particularly aromatic and slightly spicier than ordinary black pepper.
Only small quantities of the best harvests are processed into Tellicherry pepper each year, making this pepper rarity something special.
The color of Tellicherry pepper is more reddish-brown than black, thanks to the longer ripening of the berries at the time of harvest.
Due to its intense, warm and nutty taste as well as the smell reminiscent of tea or sandalwood, Tellicherry pepper is excellent as a universal pepper for all types of meat.
Use Tellicherry pepper only in the mill, always freshly ground and very sparingly.
